Previous Experience

Osmosoftian at Osmosoft
July 2007 - Present

I have been working with the ccTiddly and TiddlyWiki open source communities to develop the features that will make ccTiddly suitable for enterprise deployment within BT and other enterprises. I initially started using the BT Web 21C PHP SDK and blogged about it in order to reduce the barrier to entry and increase adoption. The lessons were then integrated into a new release of the PHP SDK in order to further reduce the barriers to entry.

I have built a number of application using Facebook which make use of both the Web21C PHP SDK and the new MOJO interface. I have also investigated Elgg as an Open Source social networking platform. I have investigated extracting data from within facebook using the API and also built a series of TiddlyWiki plug-ins that allow data to be screen scraped from Facebook.

Solution Design - Managing the Enterprise at BT
February 2007 - July 2007

In this role time was spent investigating different multicast solutions for distributing videos from the BT TV studios around the world. I Worked with BT security to investigate the deployment of an integrated IP based security system to be potentially deployed across all BT buildings and IT infrastructure. I also gained experience and understanding of Oracle SOA Suite including technologies such as BPEL and BAM.

I was also involved in ensuring that there was a smooth transition between old and new OUC codes.

Executive Web Services – Web 2.0 Developer at BT
September 2006 – February 2007

I contributed to and helped drive BT’s transformational strategy to adopt and drive business benefit from Web 2.0 technologies, working with senior BT business partners, OneIT teams, and leading technology vendors.
